Drivers License Restoration For Third DUI Conviction
If your suspension is a result of your third or subsequent conviction in
Connecticut or any other state for DUI, your operator's license is
permanently revoked.
However, if the permanent revocation began on or after October 1, 1999,
an operator may request a hearing to modify this sanction after serving a
minimum six year revocation. Prior to consideration of such a request,
the operator must comply with any previously outstanding suspension
requirements and conditions for restoration.
After serving the six year period of revocation, a written request for a
hearing may be submitted to the following address:
Department of Motor Vehicles
Driver Services Division
60 State Street
Wethersfield, CT 06161-2525
